Excellent service
Millstream provided the catering for a family wake. From first contact the team was efficient, helpful and gave a lovely personal service. Communications were easy and clear, which made the whole process smooth and gave a feeling of trust. The menu choices are very good and cater for a range of dietary needs. We chose the BBQ menu which was very tasty, locally sourced and enjoyed by all. The serving staff had the knack of being unobtrusive but always there when needed. Everyone was incredibly friendly and worked hard. Our guests commented on this and also on how spot on the food selection was. Thank you Millstream for providing a first class service, it was greatly appreciated.

Sarah and John catered our wedding last month and their services were exceptional.
Every guest said the food was amazing.
So so many stand out dishes, from the Teriyaki Salmon to the excellent choices of salads and wonderful cheese board and beautifully cooked meats.
The desserts were exceptional….the lemon cheesecakes and the profiteroles were the best ever.
Too many excellent dishes to mention.
They also recommended our wedding cake maker and worked with her on the day. It was absolutely beautiful. Tasted amazing and managed to be exactly what I wanted but couldn’t quite describe.
Their service was helpful from planning all the way through to the day.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them for all occasions.

Millstream Catering – outstanding food and service
Earlier this year we were looking at ways to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary and started to look for someone to cater for us. Researching on the Internet, I found details of Millstream Catering who were local to us, and I sent them an enquiry. We wanted to hold 3 events over a week with 30 guests on each day, so we had the time to catch up with people we hadn’t seen for many years.
John Lowe and Sarah Badis of Millstream Catering came to see us to discuss the events. They immediately put our minds at rest with their enthusiasm and professionalism. Two of our events started in the afternoon and went into early evening. They provided very well-presented discreet staff to run the day, welcoming guests on arrival, providing drinks and serving astonishing food.
We chose their cold buffets for the 3 events, and they were extremely happy to adjust the menu to suit our wishes. The compliments we received from our guests were a joy to hear. The salmon and prawns were succulent, the meats tender, the salads fresh and the profiteroles were divine. We asked for a Vegan dish, and I think everyone wanted it!
We gave John and Sarah free run of our kitchen, and we were amazed to find it as clean and tidy as when they arrived with all the dishes, cutlery, and glasses expertly washed and dried. The 3 events went as smooth as we could hope for.

After many years of “doing Christmas” with a large family we decided this year to try something a bit different and take the stress out of it, we were put in touch with John and Sarah from Millstream Catering and cannot recommend them highly enough.
There was no fuss, nothing that they wouldn’t accommodate (number of people, vegetarian, special dietary requirements etc) They turned up Christmas morning with everything prepared and just got on with it, everything ran smoothly and the food was amazing – a view shared by everyone who joined us for Christmas (40+ including children) People went up for second, thirds and some even fourths. It was the best Christmas dinner we’ve had.
John, Sarah and Debbie were very professional, friendly and everyone said how polite they are and we felt comfortable with them being in our home. They really did take the stress out of Christmas and enabled us to spend the day enjoying it how you should.
Would recommend them to anyone!! But not on Christmas Day as they will be at ours!
